Position: Accounting Clerk

Department: Fiscal

Responsibilities: This full-time position is responsible for processing accounts payable, account reconciliations, bank deposits, supply orders, filing, and general office support for the Fiscal Department. This is a high volume, fast paced position that requires accuracy and the ability to work independently. The ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting established deadlines is absolutely essential.

Qualifications:

Successful applicant should have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a business related field and a good understanding of basic accounting procedures. Previous experience with computerized Accounting software is required.

Quality Improvement Coordinator

NOTICE OF JOB VACANCY

Quality Improvement Coordinator-Fulltime Exempt

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement a quality improvement framework, which incorporates all Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio (AOoA) programs, such as provider management, Aging and Disability Network (front door), assessment and case management. Collect, analyze and interpret data for purposes of utilization management, quality improvement and risk mitigation. Recommends and supports process improvement methods and reassesses ongoing performance according to AOoA standards. Develop Medicaid Waiver provider performance dashboards that focus on both qualitative and quantitative performance Assist with Individual Provider (IP) certification and annual structural compliance review processes to also include: If changes occur, develop and implement a streamlined process for certifying potential IPs, as well as, tools which explain the application, certification and Morning Sun processes. Provide technical assistance to potential IPs who need assistance to complete the application and certification process Assist with or provide care manager level training for consumer. Create and implement a voluntary continuing education professional development training program to improve how well IPs do their job and increase quality .Analyzes Medicaid Waiver provider structural compliance review findings and corrective action plans, looking for opportunities where technical assistance could be provided to AOoA case management staff and providers to help improve the quality of services .Develops a voluntary provider training program for all Medicaid Waiver providers. Prepare various reports and listings for Quality Improvement Director, Quality Assurance, clinical staff, and agency needs. Evaluates internal IT systems being used for Medicaid Waiver provider and consumer data, makes recommendations for improving the data collection, entry, integration and reporting processes and helps with implementation of changes as assigned. Ensures the collection of data is systematic, continuous and confidential, as well as, accessible, communicated, and recorded. Maintains an effective record keeping system and confidentiality of consumer data. Completes and submits work within established time frames. Assists with program evaluation and site audits conducted by Ohio Department of Aging. Team/goal oriented. Excellent record keeping, report writing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient use of MS Office Suite and web-based applications required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, analytics, planning, business or public administration, social work or nursing, or relevant experience in quality improvement, quality control, utilization management, healthcare quality, healthcare innovation. Ability to collect, assemble, and disseminate information in an orderly fashion according to established timelines, as well as, simplify complex analyses.

The position shall be terminated if funding is not available for the RSVP Program.

Home Delivered Meals Assessor

Title: Home Delivered Meal Assessors – two (2) positions (Part-time)

Description: Responsible for conducting in-person home delivered meal client eligibility determinations, initial assessments and re-assessments throughout Lucas County. The assessor is also responsible for making necessary referrals to social service organizations based on client needs that are identified during assessments.

Qualifications: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Registered Nurse (RN)

Two (2) years’ experience in working in geriatric services or related field preferred .Must have valid Ohio Drivers’ License, an automobile in good operating condition, automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.

Classification: Professional, Part-time, non- Exempt
