A VA Medical Foster Home is an Adult Foster Care Home combined with a VA interdisciplinary home care team to provide non-institutional long-term care for Veterans who are unable to live independently and prefer a family setting. Each MFH caregiver is at least 21 years of age, lives in the home with the veteran and provides care to no more than 3 residents at a time and has at least 1 relief caregiver available. State licensed in MI, not required in OH.
