Provides comprehensive breast health education and support services to uninsured/ underinsured. Target group is women age 40 or older, uninsured/underserved, Medicare and Medicaid recipients. You may qualify for help to obtain breast cancer screenings.

Program Eligibility Guidelines:

- Need assistance with mammogram linkage service due to lack of insurance or underinsurance.
- Age 40 or older.
- Experiencing abnormal symptoms needing assistance.

Healthy Connections Program Services:

- Link you to no-cost or low-cost mammograms and clinical breast exams.
- Free rides for clients to appointments.
- Free gifts for completed mammograms.
- Free breast health educational materials.
- Reminders for annual mammograms.
- Support to find your way in health care and social service systems.

The Breast Health Advocacy project is a partnership of the YMCA of Greater Toledo's Healthy Connections program, Region 4 Breast and Cervical Cancer Project, Toledo Lucas County Health Dept., Neighborhood Health Association and American Cancer Society.
