Veteran's Benefits
Honorably discharged veterans may be eligible for prescription medication thru the Veteran's Administration. Applications can be obtained from the Veteran's Outpatient clinics or on-line at www.va.gov.
Once approved, eligible veterans must undergo an initial and annual physical at the VA clinic and complete any follow up testing related to the prescribed medication.
Eligible veteran's pay $7 per prescription for a 30-day supply. Low-income veterans, with a service connected disability, may be exempt from the $7 fee.
Provides assistance to homeless Veterans through Neighborhood Properties Inc. with housing if someone has been compliant with program criteria.
LEGAL CLINIC
Dates: First Thursday of each month, beginning September 3, 2015
Time: 08:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Who: All Veterans including employees who are Veterans
Purpose: To provide free legal advice on legal issues including but not limited to:
Wills, Eviction, Foreclosure, Child Support, Child Custody, Expungement of previous legal issues, current DUI's, Probation issues or other criminal issues.
Where: 2nd floor main conference room at the Toledo CBOC. This is scheduled for 1 year out.
Legal Resources on all issues will be available.
This is a WALK-In Clinic. NO CONSULTS needed.
