Pro Seniors provides Ohio residents age 60 and older advice and information regarding legal, nursing home, adult day care facility and home health care problems. The legal hotline is available to all residents of the State of Ohio, while long-term care assistance is only available to all residents of Hamilton, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, and Warren counties.

Legal Hotline - Provides free legal assistance via phone regarding problems that affect older adults. Subject areas include consumer problems, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Subsidized Housing, Foreclosures, Wills and Estates. Only limited assistance can be provided in areas of criminal law-tax law and business planning. If the legal problem cannot be solved over the phone, the client may be referred to a private attorney who can provide the service (for a fee).

Pension Rights Project - Provides knowledgeable attorneys who can give advice about pension laws and pension rights and the assistance in resolving pension problems with employers. Client may be advised as the self-help measures which he/she can take. Staff will also pursue problems on a client's behalf and can refer to other attorneys in various Ohio cities who can handle litigation and other complex situations.

Ohio SMP (Senior Medicare Project) Empowering Seniors to Prevent Healthcare Fraud. To help seniors become astute health care consumers by learning to identify and prevent Medicare fraud, waste and abuse. Ohio SMP also provides tips on how to report suspected fraud and has an onsite staff person to whom to report suspected fraud.
