The Ottawa County Veterans Service Commission (OCVSC) assist with a variety of services to include, but not limited to, ascertaining benefits from the Dept. of Veterans Affairs (Disability, Education and Training, Healthcare, Home Loan Guaranty, Life Insurance, Burial Benefits, Dependents' and Survivors', etc.); ascertaining military documents and/or award,' applying for the Ohio Veteran's Home; and provides transportation for medical treatment at VA Medical Centers and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. OCVSC also provides emergency financial assistance and/or information under the various programs administered by the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, State of Ohio and Ottawa County.
