Northwest Ohio Job Center of Defiance County

The Northwest Ohio Job Center offers services and programs to all individuals whether they are currently employed or searching for a new job. Our goal is to provide individuals with whatever assistance is necessary to obtain and/or retain employment. We bring together various organizations and agencies in one location to assist the job seeker. Some of the services that are available at the Northwest Ohio Job Center location include:

- Skills Assessment
- Job placement assistance
- Referral to community resources
- Supportive services information
- Phones, fax, and copy machines
- Computers with internet access one of the primary services we provide for individuals who have recently lost a job is assistance on how to apply for unemployment benefits.
Individuals can file on line at http://unemployment.Ohio.gov 24 hours a day, seven days a week or file by telephone at 1-877-644-6562 from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday (except holidays).
