St. Charles/Mercy has a 12-bed inpatient Older Adult Unit, specialty in geriatric psychiatry. A level III trauma center, St. Charles is the preferred hospital for Toledo's eastern communities and serves residents of Oregon, East Toledo, Wood and Ottawa counties. It also provides an acute inpatient rehabilitation service.
