Maumee Valley Guidance Center - Defiance

Outpatient Services Include:
- Diagnostic assessment
- Individual, Family, Couples, Marital, and Group Therapy
- Psychiatric Evaluation
- Psychiatric Medication Management
- Short-Term Psychotherapy
- Child Psychiatric Specialty
- Alcohol and other Drug Addiction Services.

Clubhouse Program:
- The Maumee Valley Guidance Center offers a clubhouse program designed to support the client's desires and goals to remain in their natural community environment. The program provides a supportive environment offering group therapy, art therapy, daily living development, recreation and leisure activity in an environment of staff and clients.

Case Management:
- The Maumee Valley Guidance Center offers case management services to adults with severe mental disability. Case Managers assist individuals with various needs so that they may remain independently functioning in the community. Treatment planning, coordinating services, advocating for client's goals and assisting clients in successful community living are just a few of the services of case management. Case management services are available 24 hours daily.

Psychiatry and Medication Management:
- Psychiatric services include psychiatric assessment and diagnosis; psychiatric medication evaluation and management, consultation and treatment. Psychiatry services not only provide services to adults but also to the special needs of young children.
