Comfort care at Lake Park is a 17-bed, palliative care unit dedicated to those patients facing a serious, complex, or life-shortening illness. Designed for the special needs of patients and their families who are facing end-of-life issues due to a progressive illness or disease. Includes: care focused on quality of life as defined by the resident; effective pain and symptom management; generous staff-to-resident ratio; availability of private rooms with 24-hour visitation; support groups for family and caregivers; a therapeutic location on a beautiful campus with lakes, trees and walking trails; a children's play area; a great room family area with kitchenette facilities.

Alzheimer's unit is a 18-bed unit at Lake Park Nursing Facility. Designed to meet the needs of those residents with special needs.

Lake Park offers the area's most extensive rehabilitation program. Occupational, physical and speech therapy; well-equipped physical therapy gym includes an apartment mockup where patients can practice household tasks; full-time licensed therapists provide services as ordered by physician; services include evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopedic diagnoses as well as swallow studies and radiology; hydrotherapy treatment room; restorative program complements skilled therapists; and community reintegration program that takes patients to shopping center, theaters, etc. for on site experiences.
