People choose the Glendale when they can no longer live alone but wish to maintain an independent lifestyle. Residents receive assistance with the activites of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, medication assistance, nutritious meals, housekeeping, incontinence management and orientation prompts as needed.
Accommodations include: fifty spacious private studios with private bathrooms, personal assistance tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident, qualified assistants who are present 24 hours a day.
Distinctive features: professional, experienced staff to provide personal care; daily housekeeping, weekly linen, and personal laundry service; rides provided to doctor and dental appointments; social and cultural activities; individualized plans of care; emergency response system; room service during illness; incontinence management; medication cueing and observance; management of special dietary requirements; individually controlled heating/air conditioning; studios wired for cable and phone installation; and well-lit grounds with security, sprinklers and smoke detectors.
