$125 group membership is currently free of charge due to a scholarship program; individual sessions offered by UT Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic for $350 per semester

We offer support, education and group programming for people who have aphasia after a stroke or head injury. Aphasia can affect all aspects of a person's communication such as reading, writing and speaking. We are non profit and all our support is from donations and the monthly fees. We use a "life-approach" to help the person with aphasia regain confidence and the communication skills that they need, following a stroke or other brain injury; we are in no way in competition with other therapy services in fact we encourage a person to receive all the individual therapy (speech, OT or PT) that they can get. We utilize games, discussions, book clubs, music and motion, and arts to engage the members in a meaningful exchange for information to the best of their abilities. Our Motto is; A.ll P.eople H.ave A. S.ay I.f A.ccommodated. We meet at the University of Toledo Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic on the main campus. Individual speech-language sessions are available through the UT clinic fo an out of pocket fee.
Sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, 1-4p.m.
