For over 30 years, the Thrift Shop has been offering sales and services to those in need. In addition, the Shop helps Head Start with supplies they need for their programs.
They work on referrals from the Community Development Center, many social agencies, County Nurses, school principals and many ministers to provide the basic necessities of life.
Monies over expenses are used to buy emergency food and clothing for those in need, including eye glasses, special shoes, prescriptions, etc. Emergency food and clothing are provided at no cost.
Merchandise ranges from clothing, furniture, books, antiques, a mod section for the college crowd, and much more.
Mission: To full Christian discipleship, and to help the local economy by providing employment and providing means for people to help themselves.
Accepts donations of cash or merchandise. Limited storage, so please call ahead. Furniture and food are accepted at all times. Donations accepted Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 1st thru 20th of each month.
Volunteer opportunities available. Public is welcome. Give away and sell clothing and food with letter of referral.
