One time rental/mortgage/down payment assistance program for Lucas County residents. Can also help out with first months rent but not security deposits. Up to $500 in rental assistance. Applications are taken over the phone the first full week of the month, Mon. through Thurs. 9am to 4pm. No walk-in appointments. Applicants will be notified that Fri. between 10am and 12pm if their application has been approved. Applications are reviewed on a case by case basis. Once approved an intake appt. is made to verify proof of income and utility expenses. Applicant must also complete a workshop that discusses life goals, prioritizing expenses and budgeting. Check will then be mailed directly to landlord. Grant funded program that runs on a month to month basis as funds allow.
