Area seniors who could benefit from a daily phone call checking on their safety can participate in our Telecare program.
How it works: A volunteer from the Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio will call the senior Monday - Friday. If the volunteer caller is unable to connect, the emergency contact will be contacted to assist in reaching the senior. If further assistance is needed, local police or fire may be contacted.
The Telecare Program ensures that someone is checking on our senior population who may not otherwise have someone to check on them. This is a FREE program, open to any area senior.
