Area Office on Aging of NWO - SAFE

SAFE volunteers promote safety and the prevention of fire emergencies, through education, distribution of information and demonstrations to senior citizens in the community. This program may include citizens of all ages in the furture. The Toledo Fire Department provides training, planning, direction, support and organization for the SAFE volunteers who in turn will represent the Toledo Fire/Rescue Department to the best of their ability. The Toledo Fire Department hopes the volunteer will gain insight into the operations of the department, learn new skills and experience personal growth as a result of their volunteer activity with the SAFE Program.
