Provides information & referral, education and support services.
The Patient Navigator program assists patients, families, and caregivers in navigating systems needed throughout the cancer journey. These systems include medical, financial, social, and emotional systems. Twenty Patient Navigators are assigned to cover all of the counties in Ohio.
The Patient Navigators have experience and training that enables them to link up people with cancer with needed programs and resources. Call the toll free number 1-888-ACS-OHIO, to get in touch with the Patient Navigator in your area. May include rides to cancer treatments.
