The Ability Center a non-profit center for independent living which helps persons of all ages with disabilities living in Northwest Ohio with home modifications and ramps, disability resources and equipment. The Center serves 13 Ohio counties: Allen, Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Williams, and Wood, with satellite offices in Defiance County.

Making independence a reality for youth with disabilities in our community
Can help with grab bars, railings, ramps, toilet risers, frames, bath chairs or bath bench with hand-held showers (no home repairs or walk-in tubs), Assistive Technology and Durable Medical Equipment.
The Ability Center helps children and adults with disabilities achieve greater independence by training and placing service and therapy dogs to assist with their daily needs. Must live in Ohio, Indiana or lower peninsula of Michigan and complete application packet.
