Kinship - Virtual Child Traumatic Stress Workshop

Are you currently, or have you ever been, a foster, adoptive or kinship parent raising children? Kinship caregivers of any age will learn about the impact of trauma on the development and behavior of children. The Virtual Child Traumatic Stress Workshop is a 3-session evidence-based workshop offered on Fridays, September 13th, 20th, and 27th, 2024, from 9:30am to 2:00pm. This workshop is possible through a collaboration between the AOoA Kinship Navigator Program and the Sophia Center. Each session builds upon the last and a commitment to attend all 3 sessions is required upon signing up. Additionally, access to the internet with a computer or smartphone is required to participate via Zoom. Participants meeting attendance requirements can earn a gift card from the Sophia Center; gift card amount TBA by Sophia Center.
