Kinship Summer Series (Day 2 of 6)

Kinship Summer Series is specifically for Lucas County kinship caregivers raising children when the biological parents are unable or unwilling to do so. The Kinship Summer Series is for kinship caregivers of all ages and is 6 power-packed days of caregiver education on topics including legal, permanency and support, mental health, schools, and health and wellness for caregivers. There are 2 featured guest presenters per day. Concurrently, childcare is available for kinship children 0 – 5 years and there is separate engaging and educational programming for kinship children and youth 6 – 17 years. For kinship children and youth to receive childcare or participate in the programming available for children and youth, the kinship caregiver must be present at the educational sessions. The Kinship Summer Series is held at TPS Bowsher High School which offers free parking and easy access. Transportation is available to registered caregivers. Lunch is provided each day.
