April 22, 2025
9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Kinship caregivers age 55 or better will have fun learning about the aging process, how to make healthy lifestyle choices, and how to use simple tools to feel empowered about their healthcare. This evidence-based workshop is in-person at the Margaret Hunt Senior Center and has 6 sessions. Participants meeting attendance requirements can earn a FREE $50.00 Kroger gift card from our facilitating partner, Harbor. Transportation is available. There is no childcare available for this workshop. This WISE workshop is specifically for Lucas County kinship caregivers raising children when the biological parents are unable or unwilling to do so. You must be a kinship caregiver to register through the Kinship Navigator Program. Register by contacting the AOoA Kinship Navigator Program at (419) 382-0624. If you are age 55 or better but are not a kinship caregiver, you may still register for WISE by calling the Margaret Hunt Senior Center at (419) 385-2595.
