This Child Traumatic Stress Workshop is specifically for Lucas County kinship caregivers raising children when the biological parents are unable or unwilling to do so. Kinship caregivers of any age will learn about the impact of trauma on the development and behavior of children. This evidence-based workshop is in-person only, at Sanger branch library, and consists of 3 sessions. Participants meeting attendance requirements can earn a FREE Kroger gift card provided by Sophia Center. The gift card amount is to be determined. Transportation is available. Lunch provided. There is no childcare or virtual attendance option for this workshop. You must be a kinship caregiver to participate in this workshop.
